The Pig with White Feathered Ornament

We are shorthanded for today as well; and also for the rest of the week... Masnah and Shahirah took leave for the whole week! Incredible right? :\ & so, Fiona took over hearing counter and Yvonne have to take on assigning and enquiry as well.

It was extremely busy in the afternoon!!! At one point, I had to stand like for one hour, servicing the ungrateful people. Explaining procedures, handling enquiries and of course, my own counter duty - consultation. I don't even have time to bring in the 3.30pm cases to the respective ARs; let alone help poor Yvonne with her enquiries which was piling up sky high!

And and and Omg!!
That stupid fat pig with stupid hair ornament was here for her consultation today. Once I saw her face, I recognized her immediately. I attended to her enquiry days ago. She was being such a total bitch and she wore a HUGE hair ornament. I told her the procedures and she kept questioning my every sentence with such arrogance and authority. Like "Why do I have to prepare four copies of the forms?" Hello??~ I'm not the one who made the rules and the procedures. Worse of all, she kept rolling her fucking small eyes at me. Who the fuck does she think she is??? And Fiona sat there, without helping me at all (O.Q)

This time, she also came with a hair ornament, which was a white hair band with a white feather. Not as big as the one she wore previously. Moreover, she was dressed in a white dress with white sandals. Everything was white! Have you seen an pig angel before? Well, I have now. LOL'D. Too bad, I have to see her again... she have to come back for another session...
残念ですね... (Q.Q)

Anyway, I actually wanted to go to the library today to return my soon-to-be due books. But I couldn't!! Because I didn't want to lug a huge bag filled with shredded paper all the way to the library... I have to take back the shredded paper today... just used finish the ones I brought home previously in the morning :(

Chinkle Chankle!

So excited about this outing :D This group - Movie Popper, was set up to let us relive our past GV days; working together, watching movie together or just having fun :) But right now, we could only watch movie together... pretending that we are signing in. Heh, kidding!

And so, we met up today to watch Final Destination 5 @GV Vivo! Twenty minutes before the movie starts, we decided to go down to Giant to grab some chips and smuggle into the cinema. Later we pretty much jammed up the usher point queue because the staff have to check our identity cards. It's a M18 show - argh!! We are all legit, I tell you!

Photobucket
All ready!! :D

Photobucket

And it's Final Destination 5 time. Death Doesn't Like To Be Cheated. Eight escaped death, eight ways to die. Gymnastic-ed, acupunctured, LASIK-ed, spannered, speared, crashed and crushed. Felt spoiler-ed? The deaths were very unpredictable and unexpected. I was anxious throughout the movie. It's like every small thing can leads to a bigger situation that will cause your death. A small nail on the floor, a harmless button. Like a butterfly effect? Anyway there is no way you can escape death; no matter what you do to avoid or prevent it. But it's awesome that in the end, the story linked back to Final Destination 1.

I have a theory that all these premonitions and deaths are caused by the Shinigami from Death Note! Since they are usually bored, like to be entertain and able to gain lifespan by killing people, yes! they are the cause of it! First they purposely give someone a premonition of what is going to happen. And then they start writing all those details of their deaths in sequence. That's why the police people said they are unable to replay the scene of the death again and accurately. Heh, joke.

Afterwards, we decided to have desserts! Have gotten a little full from all the potato chips and also the aftereffects of watching a gore movie. I think that the movie could be much gorier, but the rating would be r21 instead. Results: Poor underage people from Movie Popper won't be able to watch then :X After loitering around, we decided to have it @Earle Swensen's Restaurant and shared an apple crumble and a banana crumble!♥

Shared the bill!

All of a sudden, a very last minute decision of going to my house was made! (Edmund was the cause... as usual!) To play with my dusty Wii and also to be one of the firsts to see the baby bird! I'm so glad that everyone likes the baby bird :D You are so loved!♥

Next up, Wii time! :D Since I only had two controllers, we took turns to play and battle against each other. Played mostly fighting games though. However, the ones who held the controllers the most were Edmund and ShunAn xD Guys would be guys. To me, Wii is only fun when playing with people...!!

With that, Puikwan left early while Edmund and ShunAn stayed for dinner. And because of the dinner, I was almost late for my other appointment with YongSi and Johnatton!! Play starts @8pm, I left house @7pm... but the stupid bus only arrived twenty minutes later (O.Q) Luckily, I managed to reach NLB in the time... phew~

Some information of the play: EQUUS; that I paid $41 for the ticket...
(student price!)
Inspired by real life events, EQUUS is a moving yet inextricably disturbing piece which tells of a young man who blinded six horses with a metal spike and how this incident influences the people around him as they struggle to come to terms with his horrific actions. The play eventually exposes the complexities of human nature and questions self-discovery through universal themes such as family, relationships, religion, beliefs and the difficulties of adolescence.

As per said, some parts of the play felt rather disturbing... the movement of the actors/actress, the words they used... I didn't really understand but they seems to have lots of meaning. I do admit that I did fall asleep for a wee bit... too much talking with literature terms! Especially for the psychiatrist person, Martin Dysart, when he's talking to himself, I don't really understand anything he said. Too difficult. I have not reached to that standard of understanding yet... but I managed to grasp the storyline behind this play though. It's really cool to watch the characters come to live from the script and to see the way they perform and how they bring out the strong emotions of each characters. And heh, there's even a two minute worth of nudity - naked male and breast exposing female (her panties were still on!). There's even a ten minutes of Q&A at the end of the play; where the audience is able shoot questions to the actors/actresses/directors.

After EQUUS, YongSi went off first in a different direction from us (he is still so quiet! D:) and I accompanied Johnatton all the way to City Hall. He waited for my bus to come before going off! :)
It's great to see him after such a long time.

TO ALL MUSLIMS AND CELEBRATERS OF THE DAY,
SELAMAT HARI RAYA!!!

Monday, August 29, 2011

& So It's Monday...

As dawn breaks and my multiple alarms ring, I woke up bracing myself for the aftereffects from the 16.8km run. But hey, it wasn't so bad as I have expected to be. Just some dull ache. It was only later when I chased after my bus57, I experienced a whole new level of pain. My lower thighs and back hurts, with every step I took.

I have been fearing for this Monday to come for a long time. Addition to this aches, I was afraid that it might be a hectic day. Masnah and Yvonne were on leave. Moreover, all Muslims were entitled half day today!! All in all, we are shorthanded and yeah, fucked up!!!

It was okay in the morning because we still have the Muslims. But in the afternoon, ahhhhh~ I had to run here and there. My poor legs (O.Q). Had to cover both enquiry and consultation duties. Thanks Albert for helping me with some enquiries. At one point of time, the queue ticket dispensing machine even broke down!! (Q.Q) & when I thought it was over, AD came and gave me the saikang listing to fill up - so last minute!!! :\

After that, I couldn't go home to rest :( Had to go to Japanese class... Learnt the usage of あります/ありません and どうして. With that, lesson 9 is finished!! :D And we also started a little on lesson 10 with います/あります and also the difference between や and と. I had some difficulties in understanding this や and と; but after Kaneyuki sensei's numerous explanation... I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD!! YAY \(^0^)/

King of the Road 2011

Whee for ramblings!~

I only had 2 hours of sleep before my 16.8km run!! Cabbed down to the event location @The Padang with Dickson, Renkai and Puikwan. Cab fare amounted to $19.50. So scary when the taxi driver said "I try ar." I feared for the dollars in my wallet for a moment LOL! (not that I have any money in my wallet... but metaphorically yea!) Reached there, bagged in and walked over to the starting point of the race @the Esplanade Bridge.

First time running for 16.8km! Took really long to complete :X I think my running has improved a wee bit :D Liked the route planned out - lots of real interesting sights/views. Got to run past the Marina Bay Sands shopping outlet!! Nice aircon though :P Seen lots of weird runners - two men who bind their legs together (three legged man race!), a guy with golden spiked up hair (Saiyan mode on!) and another guy with hair that looks like a wilted red carnation flower :X Lost Puikwan @13km. Accompanied "spoilt-knees" Dickson by walking for the last few km... okay okay, I wanted to walk also, k!! xD & Shuhua found me @16km!

Photobucket
A great colourful 16.8km to us! :D

By the way, results are out for the Presidential Election 2011...

Presidential Electoral Vote 2011

Here I go~ First post desu~

Really tried to wake up @9am today; but I only woke up @11am... Oh well, full day ahead for me!! Up first was the Presidential Electoral Vote 2011; to vote for the Tans. Coincidently all the four presidents have the same surname "TAN". They are Dr Tan Cheng Bock; Dr Tony Tan; Mr Tan Kin Lian and Mr Tan Jee Say. Anyway, I don't really care who is chosen for president... but I love it that I got free off-in-lieu :P

With this, I made my way to meet Moo and Puikwan @iluma for the collection of the SAFRA Singapore Bay Run race pack. Another run on the 4th September 2011. Luckily the confirmation letter wasn't compulsory to collect the race pack... because I did a pretty silly thing yesterday. I reminded Puikwan to print the confirmation letter... And I, myself, went to print out the KOTR confirmation letter instead of the Safra run one... Best of all, I didn't even remember to collect the letter from the printer and I only remembered it when I reached home!! SO SILLY!!! D:

Photobucket

Photobucket
Not bad, not bad! Got SHOE BAG!! :D
Don't really like the race tee though...

Together with Puikwan, we took bus61 down to Vivo City!~ Movies for me and WenJie :P I accompanied Puikwan to buy her portable iPhone charger at Toy Outpost.

Was to watch Gantz 2 and Suckseed :) And also, had to discuss with the Movie Poppers about the movie we are gonna watch on the following Tuesday!! My phone died out halfway and I was in the middle of two important discussions. So once my movie, Gantz 2, has ended. I went to Toy Outpost to purchase one of those portable chargers @$15. And yay, everything was settled.

Tickets for the Movie Poppers!

Gantz 2 wasn't that boring as I heard from others. But of course, the first movie was definitely better. I think that the movie should be longer and it shouldn't just ended like that. I was really hoping there will be a third movie... oh well... time to read the manga, I guess?

My favourite chara in Gantz! :P

For Suckseed... IT WAS AWESOME!!! I really like thai comedy movies like Hello Stranger! & Bangkok Traffic Love Story (oops, they are more of romance comedy :X). It's a really very sweet, funny and touching movieee. Love the part where they were playing with Yu-Gi-Oh! cards! Shocked that Koong used a "Blue Eyes White Dragon" card to cut out his guitar pick. This movie really shows how friendship should be like :) A MUST WATCH!! YOU HEAR ME!! xD

Well, Hello There!

So here it is!
Another new blog by me~
To think that Puikwan had easily brainwashed me into creating such a blog (@.@)
This blog would be for random everyday posts (not quite daily though :X).
For my main blog - tsuki-nette.blogspot,
would be more for event and detailed posts.
Thank you.
