Finally after skipping three Chingay training, I'm back for more action!~ Seems like they have include more formation moves and there's even some minor changes to the dance steps. For this training, the committee have brought in pails (as drums) and poles for us to practice with; so that we could have a feel on how the actual props might be like. But we didn't get to use the pails though. Poles, yes. Pails, no. I kinda dislike holding onto the wooden pole :\ It makes me feel like I'm gonna get calluses on my palms D:!

False Alarm?!

Finally, I decided to go and see a doctor regarding my rashes (a little bit too late, yea? but too itchy already!! cannot take it anymore) And I actually went during working hours :P Left work at 3pm and made my way to the Outram Polyclinic. Thanks to my RPG-directions-navigating skills; I managed to find the place with one try; due to the lack of signs. Anyway, my doctor is a guy! I was totally shocked as I was expecting a female who will be able to examine my body (@.@) After examination under a supervision of a female nurse(?), the doctor told me I had to go for a full blood count test (?!) for I may have dengue :\ After twenty minutes, the results were out and then I waited outside room24 for the doctor to call me in. He told me that my blood count is alright (ahhh! waste my $8.40 for the test) and it's too vague to diagnose if I have alcohol allergy or I might have some kind of viral infection. Told me to look out in the next few days if I have bleeding gums, spots, urine got blood or my rashes got worse; then I will have to go back for another blood test again... He then prescribed me with some medicine that can lessen the itch and will cause drowsiness. Bloody hell! This medicine is also a flu tablet (the yellow ones). He didn't prescribed me with any lotion or cream to apply on the rash though... probably not needed 'cos it's internal. So I spent my time and $19.30 on this stupid rash problem! AND IT'S STILL ITCHY O.Q~ Please let it recover quick quick!

Why doesn't this body comes with its own manual instruction book?! Life would be so much easier!

ARGH!! THE TOMENT!

Alcohol allergy rash... that's what I have now! Two days and still counting. My whole body is covered with those red patches of itchy rash. Really really itchy rash. And when scratched, it has that burning sensation; kinda like sun burn but less painful. I have no cream or lotion to apply to sooth the itch. I felt itchy, uncomfortable and my body is like emitting heat. Thank goodness that my face is still alright. I don't know how long this last (hopefully not too long...); not sure whether to see the doctor or not! :\ I'm so afraid it would be a huge waste of leave, time and money... and the doctor would just call me to stay away from alcohol and prescribed me with calamine lotion. Lame! (@.@) I think for now, I'll just wait and see (and most likely scratch).

Went back to Michelle the tailor (third time!). Was really hoping that I'm able to collect my costumes already. But nooooooooooo, she cheatered bug us again. Did the whole costume test once again (slowly can see that the costumes coming into place). I asked Michelle to alter the skirt and collar for my school girl costume. And yes, we have to go down again next week. PLEASE LET IT BE THE LAST! D: So tiring to travel from Chinatown to BoonLay and then to HOME! And maybe... I will show you a sneak peek of my costumes? :D

Went out with WenJie again - did the usual lunch, movie, gachapon, arcade routine.

Lunch at Ajisen Ramen. Ordered the ramen set which consists a drink, an ala-carte and of course the ramen :\

Movie was The Thing. Didn't like it partly due to the fact it's about aliens... but the aliens were really gross and disturbing!! :D Especially the part where the alien merged with the human and when the alien broke out from the human. It's like woahhh interesting (O.O)

I only got to play Jubeat once! Too many people hogging the machines (O.Q) So I joined WenJie in playing the Plants vs. Zombies game. Pretty much like the catching fishes game: Toami-gyo; but with special bullets. And even though I just started playing it (newbie!), I'm better than WenJie!! My credits from 35 rose up to 955! AWESOME YA?!

On a side note, Damien and I visited Mr. Salleh; and we had Stiky's feathers clipped. He's unable to fly anymore (cannot take anymore chances already...) Stiky tried to fly, he kept flapping and flapping and flapping his wings; but still unable to take off. When he realized that he is unable to fly, he stood there with his feathers all fluffed up. So sad? Angry? Hur~ But I think he got over it quite quickly (I hope). After listening to Mr. Salleh about AG, I realized that once Stiky hit puberty, he would be very difficult to handle and be some what equivalent to a spoilt rebellious kid. That's the thing with smart birds; they've got a mind, attitude of their own!

Final Leave!~

I was woken up by my papa really early in the morning (even though I don't have work), because he thought Stiky was in my room as he is not in his cage (@.@) Apparently he learnt how to open the door of the cage already!! My papa was looking around for Stiky and was unable to find him. In the end, we found him perching on the bamboo pole at our balcony area. Luckily the windows are closed :\ So now he can fly and he can open cage... we used a metal piece of wire to lock the cage further now.

And so, I used my very last leave of the year for today to go out with my mama and aunt :D However first we have to accompany Damien to National Dental Centre to do his monthly tightening of his braces. The wait was really long. We reached there earlier than the appointed time 2.15pm but we were made to wait 40mins extra. I think others waited that long but no one seems to be complaining to the staffs at the counters. That's the difference between hospitals/medical wait and other stuffs you have to wait for. Oh well... Anyway, his braces changed from black to red!

We took a bus over to Bugis to have lunch. Yeah, I finally got to eat 我愛台妹. Have been craving for those mushrooms (@.@) After that, my mama and aunt went shopping (I had enough of shopping after 3 days in ZhuHai/GuangZhou); Damien and I went to the arcade. Played time crisis 4 and other shooting games with him. I'm really bad at it!! D: So sad that I didn't get to play Jubeat at all. The guys kept hogging the machines! I don't know where they come from; they don't look like students to me. I tried out the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade game that cost $2 for only one song (I chose ココロ by Kagamine Rin btw)! It was such a rip off with irritating cymbals sounds. I probably only going to play the PSP version (don't have to pay at all) but that's when I get back my PSP from WenJie.

I should really stop procrastinating and working hard on it! AFA is less than a month D: Dropped by Build-A-Bear Workshop to check whether Jeremy is working... but he is not. And finally we had dinner at Pizza Hut where we ordered the Delight Meal!

Cheater Bug ME!

Heh. During lunch break, HuiYing and I went over to The Central to check out what's there to eat. Yea, we are running out of stuff to have for lunch already (@.@)!! And we decided to check out the new stores at the basement level (quite a number of them are already open for business!!). We agreed on trying out the Poffertjes & Coffee; some kind of dutch mini cafe? xD Settled on the same order as well~ The all-day breakfast set :X

Changed our coffees to sodas instead :P


And in comes the breakfast set...

But suddenly, the boss(?) of the store presented us with samples of poffertjes (mini dutch pancakes with icing powder). We were pretty shocked because we didn't expect this to happen xD (cos' earlier we were asking what are poffertjes, you see; so it must have trigger this event to happen.)

Feeling somewhat bad if we didn't order anything else after this treat. So we decided to order six of these poffertjes with butterscotch syrup. While waiting for the poffertjes, we realized the time was already 12.51pm! So once, the poffertjes came, we rushed by putting one poffertje in our mouth each time (they taste really good when they are hot though!) and got back to our office with haste.

After work, Yvonne and I made our way down to Boon Lay once again to meet ShunAn and then proceed on to the tailor house. When we reached there, I called Michelle to tell her that we have reached. And you know what she say?! She said that she didn't know and she is not at home right now (her house lights were on... and her youngest daughter was the one who answered the call... a liar?) Anyway, she went on saying that we should have reminded her two days in advance and that our costumes are not with her now. The funny thing was that we told and confirmed with her last week and she actually wrote it down on a piece of paper :\ So, to sum everything up... we didn't get our costumes, she cheatered bug us and it was a fucking wasted trip. To play safe, ShunAn texted in English and Chinese that we would be meeting her next week and that we will also give her a call two days in advance.

Japanese class later! Managed to complete 90% of my notes and also finished up my lesson 13 homework :D There won't be class next week due to Deepavali and also the following week, Kaneyuki sensei will be going back to Japan so she won't be there for the Wednesday class! Matsubara sensei will be substituting for her (oh goodness!) And everyone from the Wednesday class would be going over to the Monday class... EXCEPT ME! So I'm most probably going to be stuck alone with Matsubara sensei on the 2nd of Nov. さびしいよね~ O.Q

Well... anyway, Yvonne and I decided to use the Groupon voucher for Manhattan Fish Market as it will be expiring on the 26th Oct!! And this is probably the only chance both of us are free after work with no other appointments. Went to the nearest restaurant at The Central. Oh, it's a voucher for a giant fried platter (serving for 2) at a discounted price of $25!! Like 50% off~

The food took some time to come and the staffs were like dressing up for halloween (@.@) We didn't finish our platter... there were too much items!! Seafood like dory nuggets, tiger prawns and calamari that comes alongside with country mushrooms, garlic herb rice and greens. We were so bloated! xD

Buggy Buggy!

The pest control people came today; at 11am! They checked my bites and it was confirmed... BBB!!! Bed bug bites! So they went around with their mini torchlight, trying to look for the buggies. But they couldn't find any or pinpoint where is the main source in the office. So it was decided to fumigate the office tomorrow after the Saturday duty at 1pm. The task will last for four hours and the smell would be unbearable. Awesome~ But first thing to do was to wash all the chairs; counter 4-7 chairs would be the first to get washed :) After work, we packed up all our stuffs, coats and placed them in our cupboards so that they wouldn't be fumigated!!

With HuiYing, we ate the 1 for 1 meal at the BBQ Chicken outlet
during lunch break :D I ordered a rootbeer float and...

Time to meet the Michelle the tailor to check up on our costumes for AFA. Was a bit late because there was some kind of train fault which leads to a fifteen minute delay and super crowded trains. Yvonne and I met up with ShunAn at the Boon Lay bus interchange, 198 :) We pretty much got a little lost in trying to recall where is her house 'cos that block is like a maze! I got to try on my costumes (ordered two costumes!!) and I think I'm pretty satisfied with them. Now to come back here next Thursday for final alteration, collection and payment. Max (ShunAn's friend/Utapri) and his friends came over too for costume testing. One of his friends is a very loud mouth girl with a super awful "action" slang to her words. My ears nearly bleed at the vibration of her vocal cords (@.@)

And and and...
I'm flying to Macau/ZhuHai tomorrow!~ Had to wake up at 3am (who the hell wakes up at 3am when I will be sleeping at 2am!) and I think the flight is at 6am... Following my parents to one of their business trips for some kind of exhibition viewing. Hopefully there's time to shop and spend my mama's china money :P On leave on Monday!! Hell yeah~

Work was pretty quiet today with Sha and Yvonne on leave. I took over Sha's assigning duty, as well as covering my own counter. Powerhouse, dude. Heh. And guess what, the cup jellies and vitagen that HuiYing and I bought have expired or going to be expired tomorrow! We bought them two months back and due to both of us waiting for each other so that we could eat together and there was a period of time that we were on leave alternately. That's why it was only until now we realized they have, well be expired. So we are now rushing to finish them up before they become even more inedible :\

And also, I have received a few bites from an insect on the lower part of my back yesterday from the office. I was thinking it could be bed bugs (since Fiona and Sha both found the bugs the other day... How come no one say anything until now?!!?), but then it might be mosquitoes. It was when I was taking my bag to get the hell out of the office, when I saw one small roundish red thing crawling on the file under the table. I quickly asked Fiona to look and she confirmed it was a bed bug!! So we proceeded on to squashing the living life out of it! Then I brought the dead flatten bug on a piece of paper to show Rita and Carmen. Now I doubt whether the bites are of mosquito. Carmen said she would call the pest control people tomorrow. Now I am so afraid that I might bring back the bugs to my house, to my room!!! Whole body felt so itchy all of a sudden D:

Second lesson of the Inu class for Japanese. And it turned out to be mighty fine! Four people in the class spoke to me today - Lendy, Kelvin, Cuthbert and one more girl with Chinese name (super bad at Chinese names). Added Cuthbert and Kaneyuki sensei on Facebook!! It seems like Kaneyuki sensei is closer to this class than the Monday Hitsuji class. Now I'm totally looking forward to next lesson :) And also, I understood the three groups of verbs already and know how to change them to て-form. Glad there's no dictation and homework given at all! I have not even completed my lesson 13 homework yet (@.@)
