So I decided to take on another show (thanks, pk!) starring him; Mary Stayed Out All Night, as known as Marry Me, Mary!

Synopsis: Wi Mae Ri (Moon Geun-Young) is a cheerful and hopeful soul who just wants to live peacefully with her father. Unfortunately peaceful is far from how they live as they jump from one home to another trying to avoid the debt collectors.

Her father happens to be friends with a well to do man who seems to have had a secret past with Mary's mother. Mary's father seems to be oblivious to this fact for the time being. Due to the friend's adoration for Mary's mother, his wish is for Mary to marry his son, Byun Jung In (Kim Jae Wook) . The two friends make a deal that if their children try to make this arranged relationship work for 100 days, he would take care of Mary's family's debt. Mary's father fantastically agrees!

In order to get out of this hairy situation Mary lies to her father and says that she is already married to an indie rock band singer, Kang Moo-Kyul (Jang Geun-Suk). Since Moo-Kyul is in another type of situation himself he agrees with Mary to fake the relationship.

At first, I didn't like Mary because her chubby cheeks reminds me too much of the national fairy person in You're Beautiful. But now I think she is still alright. And of course Kang Moo-Kyul (Jang Geun-Suk), is so awesome as usual :) He smiles more in this drama series. I'm acting like a really delirious fan girl everytime he smiles :\ New guy, this Byun Jung In (Kim Jae Wook), serious looking cool older guy type (@@) no problem with him I guess. This is such a awkward love story involving four people... a love square? Heh.

Could this be my first Korean drama?!?! Can't believe I'm actually watching a Korean drama :\ and it's a 2009 show somemore! D:

You're Beautiful (He's Beautiful), which is a South Korean drama about a fictional boy band A.N.Jell and the relationship between its members when a female, posing as her twin brother, joins the group. Tae Kyung, at first slight looks like a really weird looking side parting, long sideburns guy with eyeliner. But what Puikwan said was right. The more you look at him, the more he seems okay. Approval granted :) As for Shin Woo, he will definitely be friendzoned... with no doubt at all. And Jeremy... he seems dumb. Go Mi Nam/Nyeo; really reminds me of Haruhi from Ouran :P

Such an Unfortunate Shoot

Today is finally the photoshoot for the Lucky☆Star cosplay group that I had joined in sgcafe ages ago. Was trying to leave the house earlier but due to trying to put on my stubborn eyelashes, I was a little delayed. So I thought, "aiyer, just take a cab down to the Botanic Gardens loh." Little did I know that it was the beginning of a nightmare! I must really need to learn that premonition skill (lol, the shining by stephen king).

The taxi uncle didn't seems to understand english very well... I told him that I want to go to Botanic Gardens MRT. He brought me to the first entrance (the one beside Gleneagles hospital) - Tanglin Gate. Well, I trusted him that it was the right place because he is the taxi driver and I'm actually not very sure where is the MRT station located at. Went up to the map and found out that the entrance I wanted to go to is on the other side of Botanic Gardens. I called the leader of the cosplay group, Yuki, and also Yuuwa to complain about my predicament. Of course, they couldn't do anything. It was my problem after all.

Nevermind then, I queued up for another taxi and asked this second taxi driver to bring me to the entrance I wanted. He still can asked me "Got Botanic Gardens MRT meh?" Oh god. And he just drove me to the main entrance - Nassim Gate and dropped me off there. Like I say, I don't know this place very well. And I'm stupid enough not to take a picture of the goddamn map. I went to ask the receptionist at the Visitor Centre and he told me to walk to the MRT entrance; it would be a 15-20mins walk. I couldn't walk for 20mins! Especially not in my full cosplay :\ I would perspire my makeup off! This time I remembered to take a map and waited for my third taxi. Before that, I called Yuki to ask her where are we gonna cosplay at and she replied don't know yet; just meet at the MRT :\

And so, I boarded the third taxi. After I asked driver to to bring me to the MRT entrance, he immediately answered that he doesn't know like "Don't know. Don't know. Don't know." WTF :\ He must be intimidated by my pink wig or something :\ I straight away took out the map and jabbed at the location I wanted to be alighted at. That was when he starting driving off, mumbling to himself about he don't know whether there's a MRT there or not. Anyway... Yay! I finally alighted at... somewhere near the Trellis Garden. Since that place is still under development, the entrance gate there has no name yet. Spent around $13.80 and was still late by an hour. Next time I should have done my own fking research first or don't waste money on stupid taxi drivers. Or just fking wake up earlier so that I could leave the house on time. Such an unfortunate experience that involving taking three taxis (first time in my life; taking three cabs consecutively) Let's hope it doesn't happen again! O.Q~

The most crazy thing was... later they decided to have the photoshoot at the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage (which was extremely close to the Visitor Centre) I could have save my cab fare and my energy; if only they have decide the location earlier. I almost RAGED on the spot. Luckily they are not close friends of mine, if not 我不会他们客气的。

Anyway, the shoot was a total bore. 6 cosplayers, 1 photog, 3 saikangs. While everyone at least know someone, I do not know anyone at all. That makes me a wee bit lonely. I don't usually open up to strangers; well... they tried talking to me. But it was pretty much like a failed attempt. I think I only talked to Yuki (Hiiragi Tsukasa) and VaderShana (photog) the most. I would say the shoot is okay though it was kinda random. Random posing, random location. But but but, it was so boring and so tiring. Wanted to leave earlier but was being held back because they decided to go off together with me and I, in turn, had to wait for them to pack up. Had to walk all the way back to the MRT entrance...

First time taking the part of the newly opened circle line :D Slept all the way to Telok Blangah station. Although I had another gathering to attend... I decided to go home first to remove makeup/lens, shower and change before meeting the Feriae people at Clarke Quay. Such an exhausting day!

Today... work was simply awful. There's no other words to describe it; maybe there are but... I want to use the word "awful". Too hectic... wished that I can do kage bunshin. Felt as though I did nothing but work work work... where is the resting part?! They didn't pay me enough for this. So I emo-ed all the way to meet my HSS girls at Buona Vista. Feeling down and started digging out the horrible paranoid part of my life; be it work, self or relationship. However thanks to ShunAn's words, it really brighten up my skies :) "dont be saddd! ); grand adviser must survive all ordeals de ((:"

And I kept forgetting to bank transfer to her...

So I met up with my five wonderful friends and we head off to a hawker centre near Holland V to order zi char. Celebrated Audrey's birthday with a unique "cake" bread that Shalee has bought.

After Shalee left us to meet her other friends, we went to loiter about Holland V with no aim in mind. Stopped by Sasa (purchased some cosmetic items), Body Shop (to look look) and ended up Starbucks (for a drink). And gross! The drink I ordered totally sucks... I WASTED MY MONEY!!! D: Mental note in mind not to buy the ice earl grey tea latte :\

Last break to take pictures and polariods in front of POSB beside Starbucks. It was hilarious seeing people looking at us taking pictures at such a place. Tried to squeeze everyone in a single instant film. Audrey remained in the same position (horse stance!! 'cos too tall!) for most of the shots... someone who has the longest arm length mah~

Memories :D

Well, it was a very enjoyable night for me with my friends and was really glad that Audrey had fun on her special day with this simple get together that we have planned out. Well, in my opinion, there's really no need to get all fanciful just to celebrate one's birthday. It's the heart, the laughter that we share and the memories that are created... those really counts :)

AFA Day THR3E!!

Day3! Day3! This time I took longer than yesterday to dress up... 'cos there was a need to straighten my hair (with the help of XueNi). So I reached the Suntec Convention Hall later than yesterday :( Sorry to all my friends/cosplay partner who actually went searching for me when I'm not even there yet D: And and and... IT WAS EVEN MORE CROWDED THAN YESTERDAY!!!! I had difficulties trying to maneuver and navigate my way with my enormous bag through the suffocating crowd.

But really, today was a very hectic day for me. I didn't even have a time to rest. Too many friends to meet and I really really really felt bad letting them wait for me. Especially for my cosplay partner, Yuuwa. I'm supposed to spend most of my time with him; but no, I didnt! Most of my friends I only managed to see them once. But for Eisha... I didn't even get to see her at all! :( Thanks for the mini photoshoot, Dickson, ShiWen and WeiJiat :D And for the AFA ticket, thanks Yuuwa :D

Btw, I also got to experience something a little different from the usual event stuff I did. I went on Nico Nico Douga live! Promised Yuuwa that I would participate with him and his friend as a group for Bakamonogatari (Yuuwa - Araragi Koyomi; Evon - Hanekawa Tsubasa; me - Hachikuji Mayoi) And I found that Evon is my polymate, Himura's girlf; I think; and later on, I found out she was in KHK08~ xD Such a small world! I was getting pretty nervous about going on live in the internet and getting questions/requests from the netizens. The wait was really long 'cos even though you are in the "queue"; the priority still goes to the people who the netizens requested for them to be up. And that's the reason why I was unable to meet Eisha at all!

So once we went 'Live', all the comments were "Ararararararararagi!!" and some even said "Araragi, Marry me please!". It was really fun watching all the comments flashed across the screen. I didn't manage to read much 'cos I was rather spaced out due to stage fright :X The netizens requested us to say "Nyan!" and for me to show my big pink bag to them. One of the most embarrassing thing was they requested Yuuwa to kiss me on the cheek! In order to please them, he went ahead and gave me a fake kiss. Later when they asked are we together; told them we are just friends :\ Yuuwa even did a dance performance for the netizens (@.@) Well, anyway I was so relieved to go off stage though.

Went off to smuggle my friends into the convention area :) And had some more fun at the Canon booth. The guy at the Canon booth is really crazy... the way he behaves towards me is like we have been friends forever. And and luckily for me, I didn't miss out on the Singapore Bronies Society wall art posting thing. It was so awesome to see ponies artwork littered around the board. Great work :D Went home without dinner though.

It had been a great AFA'11. Both of my cosplays, I would say that I'm very much satisfied with the outcome. Have to give my thanks to everyone; especially XueNi for helping me out a lot! Sorry for not spending much time with some of my friends and for keeping you waiting; especially Yuuwa; my cosplay partner whom I felt especially guilty for. So yay, AFA IS OFFICIALLY OVER!! :D Upcoming event: EOY... which I think would be very boring :( blehx.
