Happy B'day, Mr Sam!

It was super last minute when we found out that it was Mr. Sam's birthday! It was only when Fiona asked me to check Facebook because she thought she saw that his name on the birthday listing. AND IT IS!!!

I immediately rushed to Rita's side and told her straight away!! Checked the time; 5pm already!! Still left with 30mins more. We asked Albert to buy the cake so that we can do a last minute celebration for him. Thank goodness Albert was back - minutes away from 5.30pm.

Time to proceed into his chamber!! Rita bluffed him that the "Dragon Lady" is here and wanted to see him. And I went in, holding the cake and everyone started singing the 'Happy Birthday' song!

Last week, it was told that XueNi and Edmund will be coming over to my house for dinner. Puikwan was able to join in last minute, Yeah! Yes, the main motive is to have dinner, but it's also to see Stiky!! :D Well, Edmund reached first, followed by XueNi and lastly, Puikwan.

Anyway, we went into my room to chat and watch videos be it on phone or computer. And soon it's time for dinner!! I guess they really like my papa's cooking (O.O) I didn't take a picture though but... here's one XueNi took!

They sat around my room, using stools as table. Sorry my room is too small D:! After dinner was done, we gathered in front of my computer to watch youtube videos!! :D And also to book BBQ pit for later in the year... for my family and Epsilon :P At 9pm or so, I accompanied them down to the bus stops and also, to pay for the BBQ pit booking fee... $20! Great times, great times :)

Too bad ShunAn wasn't here today... if not we have the full Epsilon group, yeah?!

Usagi Steps!

Yep, second Chingay training and we were down to two! TingYu overslept and Shuhua had something else on. So that's left with Puikwan and me. And so coincidentally, we both were wearing the white Chingay shirt :P

We went up the wrong exit at the MRT station... next time we must remember to go up Exit B! And also... maybe we shouldn't reach there at the appointed time, 8.45am... seems like they start at 9.30am anyway (=.=) What a waste of sleeping time!

Retrained in the first dance song and also learnt the steps of the second one! Slow paced for the first song and then FAST!! paced for the second. We must really learn how to control and pace oneself out. So that we won't go too fast for the first song and then too slow for the second song. A little bit different prop used for the second dance/song; more steps on foot work than arm movement due to holding onto the prop...

Collection of bag time kinda increased due to the new baggage number tag system... Oh well, more organized and safety I supposed...

Okayish except for the fact that there's two aunties kept wanting to include us into their conversations (=.=) Thanks, but no thanks.

I went home afterwards; no one asked me out!!! Anyway, the fatigue monster caught me at 5pm and put me to sleep until the next day... 9.30am! That's like 16.5 hours of sleep... when I woke up, I felt mighty drowsy and my lower back ached like no one's business. This must be how the bedridden felt like waking up after such a long time of coma; but >10000000000 times worse!

And... this blog ain't receiving any comments at all!! Aww, phooey!

Another day, another free lunch! This time is a treat from Mr. Lashman Singh who will be leaving us very soon too... at the end of this month! Regarding the Facebook problem... I have finally switched and remained on the 中文(简体) for the language setting. I have better chance in reading Chinese than Japanese. More comfortable as well. Also, It's The Old Layout!! Funny that I don't go 'like' anymore, but '赞' instead :P Well... until Facebook decided to change the Chinese settings to the stupid new layout, I guess I'm stuck to it :P Lol'd... I still can't believe it that my Facebook is in mandarin! xD! Me?! Mandarin/Chinese?! Hah! What a laugh!

Finally we got to celebrate Yvonne's birthday! But it was really belated; her actual birthday date is on the 16th (@.@) We had to wait for Albert to come back to work so that he could collect her cake. He was on leave for a couple of days. So yay~ Cake time :D

It was only after taking the food; then I know what is this tea reception for... :X The tea reception is for Ms Hoo, one of the registrars, who will be leaving. Anyway, I don't know who she is but I know what free food is :)

Anyway, this week I was trying my very best to complete all my Japanese homework. It's A LOT (Q.Q) and I still have to complete my lesson notes and also to recap on my previous lessons. It's getting tougher and tougher. Hope I won't have a melt down! D:

AND FACEBOOK! Y U NO STAY THE SAME?!?!? The layout of the Facebook news feed has changed drastically... for the worse! I don't see everything in chronologically order... only the popular "stories" are shown. And I've got difficulties trying to find all my game feeds :( In order to change back to the old layout, the solution was to change the language settings to English (US) to English (UK). Now even that won't work, I have to resolve to changing it into English (upside down) - which was VERY ANNOYING and also to Japanese and I'm not very used to it and I don't understand it all yet :\ Oh well... have to find better solutions that won't annoy my mind and eyes... AND WHY NOT JUST REVERT BACK TO THE OLD FACEBOOK????

Met up at Vivo City!! So funny that I actually thought I was in Giant when I was actually in Cold Storage (@.@) Couldn't decide on what chips to buy? Buy Calbee Seaweed chips; won't be wrong xD I thought we will be late for the movie but... NO~ When we entered (without checking of identification!!), it was still playing the trailers.

Overall interesting storyline but not that scary... So funny that the girl's name is called Sally. At first glance of the creatures, I actually thought they were cute. But at closer look... they are hideous. Slouching skinny white eyed creatures. Looks a bit like a rat though... I was curious about the runes carved into the stone over the furnace that the creatures live down and I found out that it spells out "Be Afraid" in Elder Futhark. Cool but creepy...

Sally: "What are you?"
Monsters: "What are we? We're hungry."

It was already 11pm when the movie has ended. We joked about the movie and started whispering like the creatures in the show xD

First Chingay 2012 training session at Goodman Arts Centre!! Met up with TingYu, Shuhua and Puikwan @Mountbatten station. Went through briefing and found out what are we gonna do for Chingay 2012 - Youths as One! It will be so awesome!! With costumes and props :D This time they only need 800 participants; unlike this year 2011 which needed 2000 participants. And our choreographers are Melvin, JINWEN!! and along with Freddie. Where the rest of them - Benjamin, Marcus and Junwei; that helped in this year's Chingay??

Next up, we learnt the front bit of the opening dance. Very 'gung ho' (not very sure of the exact meaning but, Melvin kept using it!) Though the changing of formation is a little bit confusing and tricky... I found out that the pain in my left leg is still there!! And only after dancing for awhile, it got rather 'suan' :( So sad, maybe it's really spoil... (O.Q)

I accompanied Puikwan to Novena to collect her Mizuno race pack together with Moo. Afterwards they accompanied me to Centrepoint; Orchard to meet up with a seller. But that seller lied to me! She said she would be at Bugis from 1pm-1.30pm and then at Centrepoint till 8pm. So I said okay, I will meet her at Centrepoint after my training at 1pm. I texted her and she told me she is STILL AT HOME and she will reached Centrepoint at 3.30pm. I had to wait for 1.5hours at McDonald's...

Eleven Minutes Too Late

Yeah, you've guessed it! I snoozed too much and woke up at 8.15am (@.@) I panicked, went out of my room and saw my papa sitting the living room. It felt like he knows that this was gonna happened and I think there's a chance he purposely didn't wake me up - to teach me a lesson about sleeping late. He said,"So what would it be? Half day leave? MC? Or I drive you there?" I was kinda disoriented so I just replied "wait" and went to wash up and change. Then I rushed to him and said, "Yes, drive me there." Then we were off. The whole time I didn't look at him... I know that he would say "I told you so" but he didn't; because he knows. So embarrassing! (O.Q) I was eleven minutes late for work. But... THANK YOU RITA SO MUCH!♥

This week is fully packed for me!
Hmm, maybe my Thursday might be free... but who knows?!

Today met up with XueNi to look for blueberry cheesecake recipes at Bukit Merah Library. How come no one tells me that this blueberry flavoured cheesecake is so unpopular?! We searched from the Chinese section to the English section; and we only managed to find a little itsy bit. And we decided on the "creamy lime & blueberry cheesecake" recipe; which we are going to do a variation on it and it will become "creamy vanilla & blueberry cheesecake" - just like magic! ShunAn joined us later for the shopping part at NTUC - where we purchased some of the ingredients like cream cheese, butter, sour cream. Looks like we don't have to meet up on Thursday anymore (that's why my Thursday might be freeeeeee~)

Hope that our cake will turn out looking this good...
If it doesn't look good, please let it taste good~

There's a sharp pain in my left leg whenever I apply pressure on it... please don't let it be DVT (Deep vein thrombosis)... I have a 6km run this Sunday... PLEASE LET THE PAIN GO AWAY (O.Q) I don't want to amputate my leg... but it hurts, hurts, hurts...

The Hazy Moon

MC-ed from work today. Still feeling unwell and flu has evolved to something less runny and more blocky. The throat seems better now, less sore. Texted a few people that I won't be in for work and went back to sleep. Woke up around 10.30am and went to Bukit Merah polyclinic to get meds and MC. Waited very long; seems like there are twenty patients in front of me. So sad, only received one day MC. Have to go to work tomorrow!!! (Q.Q)

I sneezed at the entrance and a staff immediately asked if I have got flu/cold...

Went home, online-d, heated some porridge, went to nap for an hour before preparing to go to Japanese class. So sad right? Still need to go to class, tomorrow still have work. Hur~ miserable. Proceeded onto lesson 11! Learnt how to count next - count items, different counters for different things. So much to memorize!! D: Had a horrible time trying to breathe in class (O.Q) And I haven't pay for my new term yet!! $300 for 10 lessons + textbook...
