Can't believe it! Are the machines at my workplace also celebrating TGIF?? \(◎Д◎)/
First, the ticket dispenser, which is placed outside for the public to take a queue number, spoilt. There's something wrong with the system internally. It jammed up or something; because the numbers for registration rocketed sky high! 453 (it's like 453 people went to press a number each D:!) was the last count before the system finally broke down and there was a run-time error. The estimated waiting time was 20hours 38minutes! Can you imagine waiting for that long? xD Ridiculous!

& because of the run-time error, that effected the ticket dispenser inside (it is for the people attending consultation)... I HAD to manually write the queue numbers for them! TGIF indeed. The most awesome thing was... the public themselves. At first, we have pasted the out-of-order sign (which also include information to just proceed to the respective counters for whatever they are here for) beside the dispenser. Most of them didn't notice it and started finger-jabbing the buttons of the machine, even though that no ticket is going to come out at all. So we re-pasted the sign on top of the dispenser, covering the buttons.

AND WOW!!! SO AMAZING! The people still can LIFT UP THE BLOODY SIGN AND FINGER-JAB THE BUTTONS FOR TICKETS! Face palm, man... face palm. One man could even strolled up to my counter and said, "Where do I get a queue number? The machine is not dispensing any.", after he lifted up the sign and jabbed the buttons (yes, I saw him doing that.) OMG, brilliant deduction!! The machine is spoilt, dumb ass. I asked him whether has he READ the sign at all. He said no. I was like, omg please take me away from all these dumb people (O.Q) It was only in the afternoon when someone finally came to reset the corrupted data and fix the system... so not efficient at all!!

As the day soon came to an end... the other department just HAVE to refer a troublemaker to my department. And I think that troublemaker is really nasty and mentally unsound!! Thank you, Yvonne for taking over that enquiry of his!♥

It's time to meet my friends and proceed to...

But first, Puikwan and I waited for the rest to reach @City Hall. Only Lisa arrived. So we went to have our light dinner @Potato Depot :)

Johnatton came along and we proceeded to Comex first. Daphne and Audrey were still nowhere to be seen/found. The convention was overcrowding with people. It was a really scary sight. I feared for my toes as I was wearing slippers :( Headed off to the fourth floor first! My main motive was just to collect leaflets from Asus (netbooks), Canon (cameras) and Samsung (cameras). Like I do at every IT fair (it was only recently that I got interested in Samsung). Halfway, Lisa went off to find Daphne, brought her to see us and only to leave again to find Audrey.

Johnatton, Puikwan and I went up to the sixth floor to continue to squeeze crowds. After that, we went back down to the fourth floor to look for them, and we found out that they are at the sixth instead. Not wanting to go through the crowds again, we sat behind a pillar waiting for them to come down to the fourth floor.

But ah~ the wait was long. So we decided that Johnatton and I would head off to eat ice cream @Bugis; and Puikwan would go up to find them (she's helping to pass along a book to Audrey, Thanks!). And yeah, we walked on different paths.

Johnatton and I walked all the way to Shaw Leisure Gallery to have ice cream @Tom's Palette, homemade ice cream parlour! After tasting some weird flavours like Lavender (gross!) and Salted Caramel Cheesecake (double gross!!), I settled for Granny's Favourite (malted choco+cookie dough) and Cherry+Almond - medium double flavour scoops!
